About these terms
These terms apply to Note Speaker and its related website, provided by Super Tools Technology Co., Limited (the company identity is awaiting confirmation for this draft). By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you cannot legally enter an agreement yourself, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use where required.
Your App Store app license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different license is expressly supplied with the app. These terms supplement that license with product and subscription information; they do not replace Apple’s applicable terms or reduce mandatory consumer rights.
The service
Note Speaker converts text and supported document or scanned-page content into speech. Features, supported languages, voices, formats and limits depend on the app version, device, installed resources and subscription status. Some voices require an initial download and sufficient device storage. Offline speech requires the necessary resources to be available on your device; purchases, updates and some other functions need internet access.
OCR, document extraction, language detection and synthesized speech can make mistakes. Review important content, particularly names, numbers, instructions and complex layouts. The app does not verify the truth or accuracy of the material you import and is not a substitute for professional advice.
Your content and permitted use
You retain your rights in the text, documents, images and other material you provide. You authorize the app to process that material as needed to perform the features you request. You must have the rights and permissions needed to import, process or share it. Converting content to speech does not give you additional rights in the source material.
Do not use Note Speaker to infringe copyright, violate privacy, impersonate others deceptively, commit fraud, distribute unlawful material, or bypass subscription controls. If a voice-sample feature is available, only use recordings you are authorized to use and obtain any required consent from the speaker. Do not use another person’s voice to mislead or harm others. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not override applicable open-source licenses.
Free use and Plus subscriptions
The app may offer limited free use and paid Note Speaker Plus subscriptions. The purchase screen identifies the subscription’s benefits, billing period, price and available offers before you confirm. Weekly and annual plans may be available. Prices, currencies, taxes, benefits and offers may vary by region and plan.
‘Unlimited’ text entries or document imports refers to the number of eligible uses while subscribed, not unlimited file sizes, storage, processing power, supported formats or device capacity. Technical limits and fair safeguards still apply. Do not purchase based on features described as planned or experimental.
Free trials and promotional offers
A three-day free trial is available only when it is displayed for your chosen plan and you are eligible. The confirmation screen specifies the offer and the price charged afterward. Apple and the configured offer rules determine eligibility. Introductory offers, win-back offers and offer codes can have different terms and are not guaranteed to be available to every user.
Unless canceled in time, a trial converts to the paid subscription shown at confirmation. To avoid a trial charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused trial period may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple’s rules. The terms shown for the actual offer control over general promotional examples.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Apple processes payments through your Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, or as specified for an eligible trial or offer. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal charges are made within 24 hours before the period ends at the applicable renewal price. Price changes are handled through Apple’s notice and consent processes where required.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Note Speaker or deleting your local readings does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period; trial access may end earlier under Apple’s rules. Use Restore Purchases, when available, with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Billing and refund requests are handled through Apple, without limiting any statutory remedies you have against us.
Local storage and your responsibilities
Keep original copies of documents you need. Local readings and generated audio may be lost if you erase app data, remove the app, lose or reset your device, or change backup settings. We do not provide a cloud recovery service for device-only readings. Deleting an app copy does not necessarily delete originals, exported copies or prior device backups.
You are responsible for your device, network and storage costs, and for using playback safely. Do not operate the app in a way that distracts you from driving or another activity requiring attention.
Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains local processing, permissions, resource downloads, subscription information, support communications and website access. It forms part of the information provided about this service; using the app is not blanket consent to every possible processing activity.
Apple services, resource hosts and external websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Open-source components, voices and models may be subject to separate licenses, which remain in effect. We do not claim ownership of those third-party materials.
Availability and changes
We may update the app to improve it, address security issues or comply with law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, identical voices on every device or perfect speech output. We will give notice of material changes where required and will not remove paid rights in a way prohibited by consumer law.
If use materially violates these terms, we may restrict access where technically possible and legally justified, with notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate. Stopping use does not automatically stop Apple billing; manage your subscription separately.
Warranties, liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that every result will be accurate or every feature will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for failures caused solely by your device, third-party services or your unauthorized use, except where the law makes us responsible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing removes statutory guarantees, refund rights or other mandatory consumer protections. Any applicable warranty and liability provisions in the app’s license remain subject to these legal protections.
Disputes and general provisions
Please contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Applicable mandatory law determines any non-waivable consumer rights and access to courts. Any governing-law provisions in the applicable app license remain subject to those protections.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We will update the date and provide notice of material changes where required; changes will not retroactively remove accrued consumer rights.
